If you have a learning disability and have joined your GP Practice’s register of people with a learning disability you are entitled to a free Annual Health Check. This is done by your GP practice once a year and is available for all people with a learning disability who are aged 14 years and older.
These yearly health checks give you the chance to talk to a health professional about anything that is hurting or worrying you and helps support you to look after your health to stay well in the future.
It is a really good way to get to know your GP practice and for them to get to know you!
